I Am Alone
00:35
|
|||
When we were young
we'd walk with our friends
stare at the sun
until the day ends
Now they are gone
and i walk alone
now they are gone
I am alone

A Man Called Melville
02:10
|
|||
I went to sea to pay for the
Family I had that needed me
And when I came in
I was a little bit cranky
My name is Melville. Herman Melville.
The most boring author ever. Melville.
I wrote some books and they failed
My teeth gnashed and I wailed
I became a customs agent
Yet I did yearn again to sail
My name is Melville. Herman Melville.
The most boring author ever. Melville.
I went to a Polynesian island
Where cannibals were tryin'
To eat my flesh
I stole away on a boat to New York
My name is Melville. Herman Melville.
The most boring author ever. Melville.
My name is Melville. Herman Melville.
The most boring author ever. Melville.

He Wants to Live
01:27
|
|||
He is a guy
That doesn't want to have to die.
He wants to live.
But he can't,
'Cause people always set him on fire.
They burn him up.
In the end,
He goes on living as he can.
He is the Toff.
He is the Toff.

Valor
01:01
|

As we walk through the trees of the willow,
And we stand upon the hill
If the need arises for a hero,
Then I'll stand, and I'll fight, and I'll die

Sharpness
01:40
|

i'm a nail in a piece of wood
i'm a nail in a piece of wood
i'm a nail in a piece of wood
i'm a nail in a piece of wood
i'm a nail that is pierced into some wood
i'm a nail so i'm doing the piercing
Because i'm a nail being sharp is good
sharpness allows me to pierce things
i'm a nail in a piece of wood
i'm a nail in a piece of wood
i am the wood that is being pierced the nail
i'm the wood and i'm just sitting
it's not like i jumped onto the nail
the nail started all the piercing
i'm a nail in a piece of wood
but i'd be the wood if i could

Today's Schedule
01:20
|
|||
The wind pales in degree
To the gales of the sea
And I don't see how that matters
Flies all around
Flies on the ground
Flies gonna get splattered
Larva in the wood
All I do I should
Remove larva with a clatter
Potatoes and gravy
Ate too much maybe
Roast meat on a platter
|
||||
7. |
||||
Making do with what I have, I construct a flying machine
Its components fit real nice, they are green
Flying around this empty sky, look at me
Flew through a tunnel and I hit a tree

Pennies of the Skies
02:23
|
|||
Watch them falling from the sky
Searching for your open eye
If they find you, look away
Close your eyes, cause they will try
To open up your eyes, open up your mind
Open up your eyes and make you cry
Open up your eyes, open up your mind
Open up your eyes and make you blind
They are the pennies in disguise
They are the pennies of the skies
They are the pennies in disguise
They are the pennies of the skies
See them circling round your head
You'll be fine, just do what I said
They're the copper birds of prey
They won't leave until they've fed
Open up your eyes, open up your mind
Open up your eyes and make you cry
Open up your eyes, open up your mind
Open up your eyes and make you blind
They are the pennies in disguise
They are the pennies of the skies
They are the pennies in disguise
They are the pennies of the skies

when i see a thing that i don't recognize
i run and hide
i try to get away
i do this because the thing that i don't know it might be bad
it might be good
i really cannot say
when i see a thing that i don't recognize
i run and hide
I try to get away
i hate things that i don't know
because you don't know what they'll do
and maybe it will harm me in some way

(Show Me) Where to Drive
03:20
|
|||
The sun came out today
It shined into my eyes and now I can't see
The sun came out today
Can you show me where to drive?
It doesn't work by smell or sight
Can you show me where to drive?
I put my glasses on the steering wheel
So that I could drive by feel
Can you show me where to drive?
Can you show me where to drive?
I hit an octopus
As I drove along the bush
Can you show me where to drive?
Can you show me where to drive?
Can you show me where to drive?
Can you show me where to drive?
Can you show me where to drive?

Shingle Master
01:25
|
|||
She saw a light in the distance
Its shimmering beauty slowly fading away
She didn't know what it was
She didn't want to know
They put on the shingles first
Most people argued over this
But they were soon dispelled
By the Shingle Master
The Shingle Master walked onto the scene
"You will put on the shingles first
In this way, the ferret won't be scared of the roof
As ferrets are wont to do."

Photographic Memory

I am a photographic memory man
I have a photograph of you
But what to do with it?
I'm not quite sure
The lower lip you bit
On the Eastern shore
In time people can drift away
But still your picture does remain
I am a photographic memory man
I have a photograph of you
But what to do with it?
I'm not quite sure
It's just the way you sit
On that sandy floor
In time people can drift away
But still your picture is the same
I am a photographic memory man
I have a photograph of you
I am a photographic memory man
I'd rather have a real-life hue

The infantryman
The infant tree
The infantryman
The infant tree
He's green, I see. The infant tree
He's green, I see. The infant tree
He's green, I see. The infant tree
They are, chasing me, They are, coming
They are, chasing me, They are, coming
They are, chasing me, They are, coming
He grows in the ground
With absolutely no sound
Look for him in the dirt
He is totally inert
He's green, I see. The infant tree
He's green, I see. The infant tree
He's green, I see. The infant tree
They are, chasing me, They are, coming
They are, chasing me, They are, coming
They are, chasing me, They are, coming
When he was marching with the troop,
He was not part of the loop
He did the laundry every day
But then he left the group and ran away
He's green, I see. The infant tree
He's green, I see. The infant tree
He's green, I see. The infant tree
They are, chasing me, They are, coming
They are, chasing me, They are, coming
They are, chasing me, They are, coming
The infantryman

Fingers vs. Centipedes
02:31
|
|||
Fingers come attached to hands
Then at night, they roam the land
Fingers live on hands in day
Then at night, they walk away
My finger hurts, my finger hurts
because i have been playing for too long
Finger versus centipedes
Finger versus centipedes
Yes, Finger versus centipedes
Finger versus centipedes
What do you get when you take one apart?
Bones and things and little finger parts
The other one is kinda gross
Because it lives inside my house
Finger versus centipedes
Finger versus centipedes
Yes, Finger versus centipedes
Finger versus centipedes
Fingers come and attack the centipedes
Centipedes say "help us please"
They are our enemies

it hurt kinda bad and now i'm dead
now it is the end of the day
in hot water on the floor i lay

thank you, Wolfgang Senff
I'm not too swift tonight
as i lay staring into the light
"come to me" said a voice
"now is the time to make your choice"
it was Wolfgang Senff
it was Wolfgang Senff

Standing next to me

Rode my bike and I hit a car
Then I hit the tar
From afar I
Helped to stop a war
Said goodbye to the guy I know
Pushed him in the snow
It was so my
Bones began to grow

The Great Melting
I am a snowman
I don't like the Great Melting
Because I am a snowman
I don't know what you're doing
but I'm going canoing
I don't know what you're saying
But I'll thank you anyway
And then we can leave this place of the Great Melting
I'll kill all the people (no!)
Who cause the Great Melting
I'll kill all....
No one will survive, this will be the end of all mankind

The Christmas War!
01:16
|
|||
Christmas time is on our roof
Now it's time to hear the truth
Listen to the bells and hooves I say
It is a horse-drawn sleigh
Mrs. Grundy drawing near
See the children hide in fear
She has a knife and a gun
Christmas has come to everyone
Bar your windows and your door
Mrs. Grundy's back from war
Bar your windows and your door
'Cause Mrs. Grundy's back from war!

The Lazy Life
04:00
|
|||
I woke today. I woke today and you were gone.
I went outside. Went outside and you were on my lawn.
Got in my car. Got in my car and drove away.
I told myself. Told myself that you'd be okay.
Yesterday. Yesterday you drove at night.
You drove your car. You drove your car without head lights.
The guy in front. The guy in front thought you were crazy.
But it turns out. It turns out that you were just lazy.
You came to me. You came to me for advice.
I just said. I just said that you were nice.
So you stayed. So you stayed over with me.
That is the end. That is the end don't you see?

Not that long ago there was a lonely bean
who sat alone in a parlor shop, dreaming that one day he would unlock that blissful stock
Time after time he was embroiled in a love affair
to which there was no end in sight.
To his girl he said, "with this smuffin I thee wed"
But she replied, "no sir, for I am in love with the flea"
Bean the Spleen went to the flea and noticed the lock on the block
It was what he had looked for all along
It emcompassed his passions, desires, and of course his expedient love for that he did not know
He opted to run away, which ultimately was his forever foray into madness
No no you can't rub the bean
No no you can't rub the bean
Though he lies only in a pile of his own sweet nectar night after night
He tries to fight his own plight against the block
Night turns to day
Day turns to night
Night turns to a fiery abyss where time is of no essence
As Bean the Spleen fled to the block the fiery abyss encompassed that which he desired, and lacked.
With a short ponderance he embraced what he once feared -- the lock!
He took his smuffin and rammed it into the flea
Then threw him into the sea of fire to get what he desired
With fists of fury little miss girly ran to him
But he didn't heed to throw the block at the woman he didn't love
Then the lock blew off and out came a spiraling orb that spoke the bean's oath:
No no you can't rub the bean
No no you can't rub the bean
Though he lies only in a pile of his own sweet nectar night after night
He tries to fight his own plight against the block
But now there is no block
Just this blissful stock, that being timed by a clock
And when the bean's time was done, the stock was locked inside the block
And now the clocks counts down to the bean's death
